The Spacemusic podcast is online since 2005. It started as a joke, just to play freely available netlabel music in the electronic music genre and promote it... At the end of Spacemusic Season 9 in the year 2014 statistics showed a Grand Total of more than 2.8 Million podcast downloads which was truly phenomenal ! Spacemusic became part of the Ambient Zone, the online station for Ambient & Electronic music. Featuring many artists from around the globe, this is a showcase of artists and their creative works. We supply ... as there is demand. Artists love to have their work featured on our podcasts, listeners are in search of the greatest music in this genre. Bang! It all makes sense. Members and Patrons of the Ambient Zone are supporting both parties: the artists and the creators of the Ambient Zone.

This depends on your Membership plan. At the top of this page you can see the plans and the content you can access. The higher the level, the more shows (and formats) you can listen to.

Why do I need to pay for this ?
The Ambient Zone is delivering high-quality shows and provides the listener with all necessary information to go and buy the original albums and tracks. Our quality standard is something we’re proud of and therefore, this is what we do fulltime. There is no other day job, so we ask for your Support to keep the station online! Without the Membership Subscriptions this would be impossible to do.

Is there a 'Free' subscription plan ?
No there is not. We do not have the option to create a free account. Of course the main website is available to everybody! Also, we do have a Mixcloud® page where you will find our shows for free in streaming condition. New Spacemusic episodes for instance will be published on Mixcloud but always later than in the Ambient Member Zone. Other shows (Scanner, The Lab) will not be published via Mixcloud.

I've lost my files, can I download again ?
Yes, you certainly can! All our shows are available 24/7 the entire year. You can always come back, login and download again, as long as you are a subscribed Member there’s no restrictions.
